SOCIAL IMPACT INITIATIVES
Corporate Fundraising & Partnership
We support the Cancer Council Queensland in its fight against cancer through fundraising, donations and corporate partnerships since 2016. Helping to advance their mission to improving quality of life for people living with cancer, through research, support, prevention and early detection. Additionally, as part of this year’s Movember, our team has pledged to walk 60km by the end of November to raise awareness for the 60 men lost to suicide every hour across the globe, demonstrating our commitment to mental health and supporting meaningful change in our communities. E-waste Responsibility
Partnering with SubStation33, a social enterprise initiative of YFS that has operated since 2012 to respond to the need to provide a workplace where people from long term unemployment and marginalised backgrounds could gain confidence and skills to transition to sustainable employment and at the same time to address the increasing amounts of electronic equipment going to landfill, to reduce negative environmental impacts.
Social Outreach
With the rise of cost of living and housing crisis, we decided to be part of the solution to help break the cycle of homelessness. We are joining hundreds of CEOs in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout from 2024 to support their ambitious goal of building 500 homes over the next five years and directly assists people experiencing homelessness and people at risk of homelessness. To ensure every Australian can access accommodation, meals, and emergency assistance when they need it.
Our Reconciliation Action Plan
Our Reconciliation Action Plan focuses on fostering inclusivity and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. This plan also extends our support to those experiencing homelessness, ensuring a more equitable future for all. We are at the final stage and will be updating this page with more details.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Conscierra acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
